Rhode Island is Famous For You

Dec 31, 2019 11:07:00 AM / by Tim McCarthy

by Jack Haley and Estelle Loring | Performed by Blossom Dearie

Editor’s comment:  Thanks to Jim Sullivan for this song, performed by the late jazz pianist, Blossom Dearie.  This song was originally written for a 1948 musical review by the actor who played Tin Man in the original movie “Wizard of Oz”.  I find it a nice light way to start my year.

Favorite Lyric:  “Pencils, come from Pennsylvania”
