Editor’s note:  Attached is a link to a short video about a scholarship and mentoring program started by our nonprofit partners Jimmy and April Malone.  Despite low-income, first-generation college students having a 90% graduation failure rate, their program has achieved a 90% success rate, helping hundreds of students achieve their dreams over the past 20 years.  According to the Malones, “Our kids graduate from college because they are reminded regularly how far they’ve come, how close they are to success, and that we believe they can do it.”
