Inside Drucker's Brain
Written by Jeffrey Krames [more]

Preface: While Krames shows to be a bit of an idol worshiper, it's worth the wade through hyperbole to read this summary of Drucker's most important books and concepts. The father of modern management practice has been a force in my business learning for over twenty years with concepts such as "there is only one valid definition fo business purpose: to create a customer" and the "outside-in" concept. The latter concept, "seeing one's organization through the eyes of a customer, supplier or other more objective outsider" is the most enduring for me since this one simple discipline will get us through any barrier we face.

A favorite quote:
"Abandon all but tomorrow...... a critical question for leaders is 'when do you stop pouring resources into things that have achieved their purpose?'"
