Creating a World Without Poverty:
Social Business and the Future of Capitalism
by Muhammad Yunus [more]

Preface: Subtitled "Social Business and the Future of Capitalism," Mr. Yunus goes a little farther than I might in how he would change the world. And yet, there's no denying many of the concepts this winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and founder of the Grameen Bank has developed.

Yunus's bank has over $5 billion in assets. And here's the wild part - the debtors are very poor women who are also, with Grameen employees, the bank's shareholder and their average loan is still under $300 USD.

So the guy is worth listening to. ☺

A favorite quote: "In order to have win-win globalization, we must have fair traffic laws, traffic signals and traffic police. The rule of "the strongest takes all" must be replaced with rules that ensure that the poorest have a place on the highway. Otherwise, global free market falls under control of financial imperialism."
