August Song: Everybody's Had the Blues

Essence of the music/lyrics: Blues became interesting to me when friend John Zingg turned me onto BB King in college thirty-some years ago. This song is written by one of BB's protege (they've performed it together) and is one of my favorites. For one thing, it's upbeat (unlike most blues) and another it contains my Mom's most enduring advice - that you can't solve a problem unless you talk it over.
